Process in filling – up of Vacant Local Treasurer Position

All qualified recomendees to the position of Provincial / City / Municipal Treasurers and Assistants who meets the minimum requirements under RA 7160.

Availability of Service: Monday to Friday from 8:00AM to 5:00 PM except on holidays.

How to Avail of the Service:

1 Submit recommendation letter of LCE stating three (3) qualified recommendees and his preference together with the documentary requirements for appointment to the position of Provincial / City Treasurer and Assistants.

In case the position to be filled up is Municipal Treasurer or Asst. Municipal Treasurer, it should be indorsed by the Provincial Treasurer.

Submit lacking documents / qualified recommendees

Receive approved appointment

Stamp receipt and record in the logbook.

Check completeness of required documents and qualifications of recommendee.

If documents are incomplete, and / or recommendee is not qualified prepare letter informing the office / lgu concerned to submit lacking documents or submit qualified candidates to the position. Letter for signature of the Regional Director

Wait for the reply of the lgu / office concerned.

Receive and record submitted lacking documents / qualified recommendees.

If documents are complete and recommendees are qualified the RSPB will schedule the deliberation.

Send notice to member of RSPB of LGU concerned.

Make initial comparative evaluation of the qualifications of recommendees.

RSPB Deliberation and Resolution

– Screening / Evaluation of the qualified three (3) recommendees by the RSPB to determine the best qualified.
– Prepare Resolution and Comparative Evaluation of Recommendees

– Sign Resolution and Evaluation

Prepare endorsement of complete documents to CO for appropriate / final action.

Review and countersign endorsement before signature of the Regional Director.

Record the documents before release.

Release the complete documents and mail to Central Office.

Receive the duly approved appointment paper from the Central Office.

Prepare transmittal letter of the approved appointment for signature of the Regional Director.

Record the approved appointment before release.

Release the approved appointment to concerned appointee or by mail.
