President Rodrigo Roa Duterte has recently issued the appointment papers dated 06 September 2019 of three (3) Director II’s in the Bureau of Local Government Finance (BLGF).

Ma. Pamela P. Quizon is the new Director II of the Local Fiscal Policy Service in the BLGF Central Office. She was previously OIC and Acting Director of said service since January 2016.

Divina M. Corpuz is the new Regional Director (Director II) of BLGF Region III serving the local governments of Central Luzon. She was Acting Regional Director of the same region for 4 years prior her appointment.

Gilbert B. Gumabay is the appointed Regional Director of BLGF Region IX that has jurisdiction of local governments in Basilan, Sulu, Tawi-tawi and Zamboanga Peninsula. He was the Acting Regional Director of BLGF Region X, VI and IX prior to this appointment.

Director Quizon, Corpuz and Gumabay were sworn in by Secretary Carlos G. Dominguez last 24 September 2019 at the DOF Office Manila. Witnessing their oath taking program were DOF Undersecretary Antonette C. Tionko, DOF Assistant Secretary Dakila Elteen Napao and BLGF Executive Director Niño Raymond B. Alvina.
