PASAY CITY – The Bureau of Local Government Finance (BLGF) has been recognized by the Career Executive Service (CES) Board in the 2022 CES Lifelong Learning for Leadership Congress (CESCON) for institutional partners contributing to the accomplishments of the CESB.
Announced in the awarding ceremony’s Pasasalamat segment of the CESCON event on 24 November 2022 at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC) Pasay City, and livestreamed via Facebook, BLGF Central Office Administrative Officer V (HRMO III), Ms Rosario S. Lamberte, received the plaque of recognition as one of the awardees for “Agencies with Timely and Consistent Compliance with Quarterly Submission of CES Plantilla Reports”.
With the theme “RebounCES: Bounce Back Better”, the CESCON event is inspired by the new leadership as the country is rebuilding from the Covid-19 pandemic. This is in line with President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s keynote message to about 900 CES officers and eligibles (CESEs) on the first day of the event held last 22 November 2022, emphasizing the crucial role of human resource capital as the most important resource in post-pandemic recovery.
“Let us work together. This is the kind of thing that we need. As leader, as President, I cannot do my work without all of you, and that’s why you must be the best that you can be”, President Marcos, Jr. said.
The 2022 CESCON event culminated the month-long celebration of the CESB’s 49th Founding Anniversary.
