As part of instituting professional development and capacity build-up on local treasury service for the year 2018, the Bureau of Local Government Finance conducted a total of five (5) batches of trainings on Data Management and Analysis (DAMA) to local treasury officials of different local government units (LGUs) and BLGF personnel throughout the year.

The trainings were conducted on the following dates and venues:

1. 02-04 October 2018 at the Bayleaf Hotel, General Trias, Cavite participated by CAR, Region I, Region II, Region III, Region IV-A, MIMAROPA and Region V;
2. 03-05 October 2018 at the Bayleaf Hotel, General Trias, Cavite participated by Region VI, Region VII, Region VIII, Region IX, Region X, Region XI, Region XII and CARAGA;
3. 24-25 October 2018 at the Bayview Park Hotel, Manila participated by NCR, CAR, Region I, Region II, Region III, Region IV-A, MIMAROPA, Region V, Region VI, Region VII, Region VIII, Region IX, Region X, Region XI, Region XII and CARAGA;
4. 26-28 November 2018 at the Holiday Inn, Baguio City participated by CAR, Region I, Region II, Region III, Region IV-A, MIMAROPA and Region V; and
5. 27-29 November 2018 at the Holiday Inn, Baguio City participated by CAR, Region III, Region VI, Region VII, Region VIII, Region IX, Region X, Region XI, Region XII and CARAGA.

DAMA aims to develop a pool of confident and competent Local Treasurers, Assistant Treasurers, and BLGF Personnel trainers with the ability to deliver, manage, and implement the DAMA training to the LGUs under their jurisdiction.
