SUBJECT : Conduct of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Courses
The Bureau of Local Government Finance (BLGF), as an accredited Institutional Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Provider of the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC), is currently implementing the conduct of the CPD courses on property appraisal/valuation to local government assessors and appraisers of the country. This is in response to the call of adopting reforms in the valuation sector through the implementation of an equitable, transparent and impartial valuation system in the country, and to provide support to Assessors and Appraisers who are renewing their licenses.
Relative to the above, please be informed that the 1st School of Training Philippine Valuation Standards (PVS) shall be conducted on August 23-26, 2016 in Manila. Additional schools/schedules will be organized subject to the volume of applications recieved.
With this, you are invited to attend the abovementioned training to facilitate the renewal of licenses and to continue to institutionalize competency offerings in the assessment service.
Please be advised that we will be accommodating a maximum of sixty (60) participants per class on a “First Come, First Serve Basis”. Strictly, there will be no walk-in participants allowed to ensure that trainings are managed properly and the learning of participants is facilitated.
Training Fee is P1,500/day, which shall cover the cost of training kits, meals, snacks, honorarium of resource persons and other expenses related to the training.
The training fee, transportation, per diems and incidental expenses shall be charged to the funds of your respective offices, subject to the approval of respective Local Chief Executives (LCEs).
Upon completion of the training, eligible participants shall be provided with a Certificate of Training equivalent to 32 CPD units, per approval from the PRC, under Accreditation No. 2013-002-1198.
