Koronadal City – Executive Director, Consolacion Q. Agcaoili had a successful visit to the BLGF Regional Offices in Regions XII and Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) on September 21-22, 2023. The visit was a productive opportunity for Executive Director Agcaoili, BLGF RO XII Acting Regional Director Von Clinton Cordero,  BLGF BARMM, Acting Regional Director June Anne Abella, along with BLGF personnel to collaborate and exchange valuable insights and updates on the BLGF’s ongoing efforts to support and enhance the financial management practices of the local government units (LGUs) across the country.

In her visit to Region XII, Executive Director Agcaoili also engaged in an informative session with the Philippine Association of Local Treasurers and Assessors (PHALTRA) where she provided key updates, discussed pertinent issues, challenges and strategies to achieve sustainable fiscal growth at the local level.

The BLGF is an attached agency of the Department of Finance (DOF) mandated to support local governments through technical assistance and capacity building to ensure effective fiscal management practices. The Executive Director’s active participation further highlighted the importance of knowledge sharing and working together to create financially resilient local communities
