Manila – Bureau of Local Government Finance (BLGF) Executive Director Ms. Consolacion Q . Agcaoili , together with the BLGF officials and personnel, advocated for women empowerment during the Department of Finance – Gender and Development Focal Point System (DOF-GAD FPS) and Landbank of the Philippines (LBP) Women Inspiring Women Forum, with the theme “Empowering Women: Stories of Women, for Women”, held on March 25, 2024, 1:00 to 4:00 PM, at the Land bank Hall, 10th Floor, Landbank Plaza, 1598 Del Pilar St., Malate, Manila. BLGF Executive Director Agcaoili shared inspiring and empowering experiences about her journey as a woman and as a public servant. “The disparity between women and men in the Philippines is not really much of a problem, given the fact that there is a lot of women in the government service leading and managing. Personally, when it comes to leadership, we can be equal with men. Women can be better,” Executive Director Agcaoili said.

The Women Inspiring Women Forum is an annual activity in celebration of the National Women’s Month dedicated to share transformational and motivational stories of women in government service.
