Bureau of Local Government Finance (BLGF) Executive Director Consolacion Q. Agcaoili, Legal Division Acting Chief, Atty. Esperanza LM. Aggalao-Ticangan, and Information Systems Management Division Acting Chief, Mr. Francis Jordan R. Arbo, advocated for digitalization and sustainability of fiscal practices at the Joint BLGF and Regional Association of Treasurers and Assessors, Inc. (REGATA) of CARAGA region. The event, with the theme: “Maximizing LGU Revenues: Empowering Local Governments Through Digital Transformation and Sustainable Fiscal Practices”, was held from May 29 to 31, 2024, at the Dotties Place Hotel and Convention, Butuan City.

BLGF Executive Director Agcaoili served as a motivational speaker and highlighted the fairness and strategic implementation of judicial and administrative remedies in auction sale procedures for delinquent real properties.

Updates on administrative discipline relative to the 2017 Rules on Administrative Cases in the Civil Service (2017 RACCS) and 2017 Omnibus Rules on Appointments and Other Human Resource Action (ORAOHRA), and the BLGF’s full digitalization roadmap, were discussed by Atty. Aggalao-Ticangan and Mr. Arbo, respectively.
