Pasig City – Bureau of Local Government Finance (BLGF) Local Fiscal Policy Service Director Ricardo L. Bobis, Jr., Local Government Unit Operations Service OIC Director Brenda L. Miranda, and Local Treasury Operations Division Acting Chief Ms. Cynthia G. Faurillo, participated in the Asian Development Bank (ADB) High-Level Validation Workshop on Philippine Public Financial Management (PFM) Reform Roadmap on April 15 to 16, 2024, at the Joy-Nostalg Hotel & Suites Manila, 17 ADB Avenue Ortigas Center, Pasig City.
The two-day workshop is part of the consultation workshops for the development of the Philippine PFM Reforms Roadmap for 2024 to 2028 aimed to map out the key reform initiatives focusing on the eleven (11) thematic/focus areas, namely: Planning and Budgeting Linkage, Integrated Financial and Management Information System, Treasury and Cash Management, Budget Execution, Accounting and Auditing, Asset Management, Procurement (including elements of green procurement), Liability Management, PFM Capacity Development, Disaster Risk Reduction and Management, and Local PFM and National Devolution Transition Plans.
