Manila – Bureau of Local Government Finance (BLGF) Administrative Division Supervising Administrative Officer, Ms. Marife A. Baniquet, and Administrative Officer IV (Planning Officer II), Ms. Mary Aloveli C. Ferrer, attended the Department of Finance (DOF) 1^st Sectoral Gender and Development (GAD) Focal Point System Assembly, on February 16, 2024, at the DOF 7^th Floor Roof Deck, Manila.

In her opening remarks, Chief-of-Staff and Information Management Service (IMS) Undersecretary Maria Luwalhati C. Dorotan Tiuseco committed to be more active in the GFPS’ meetings and activities for CY2024.

The DOF’s 1^st Sectoral Assembly highlighted the updates on the submission of the FY2024 GAD Plans and Budgets and FY2023 GAD Accomplishment Reports, reconstitution of the sectoral GAD Committee and sectoral initiatives to commemorate the 2024 National Women’s Month, and consultation with the National Tax Research Center (NTRC) on its request for the submission of sex-disaggregated data (SDD).
