Manila City – The Interagency Governing Board (IGB), presided by Department of Finance (DOF) Legal Service and Local Finance Group (LSLFG) Undersecretary Bayani H. Agabin, convened on its 10th meeting for the Local Governance Reform Project (LGRP) on 12 January 2024 at the Department of Finance (DOF) Manila, to discuss the implementation updates and catch-up plans as the project is now in its 4th year of implementation.
In the said meeting, BLGF Executive Director Consolacion Q. Agcaoili highlighted the roadmap to full digitalization of BLGF services to include the development of a new electronic Statement of Receipts and Expenditures (eSRE)/LGU Integrated Financial Tools (LIFT) system.
Moving forward, the BLGF will firm up the project’s timeline in coordination with the Asian Development Bank (ADB) mission, DOF Office of the Secretary (OSEC), Investment Coordination Council (ICC) and Public Investment Staff (PIS) of the National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA).
