The Bureau of Local Government Finance (BLGF) marks another year with a new milestone by a recognition program for the stakeholders on 12 December 2019 at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC).

The BLGF, in partnership with the different stakeholders, strengthen its position through the ceremonial signing with different financing institutions on the exchange of information on LGU credit financing with financial institutions, Land Registration Authority (LRA) on the data exchange, and with Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA) on capacity building program for Continuous Professional Development (CPD) Units.

In scaling up the treasury and assessment service in the country, the Bureau also acknowledged the top passers of the Basic Competency on Local Treasury Examination (BCLTE) 2018 and 2019, together with the top passers of the Intermediate Competency on Local Treasury Examination (ICLTE) 2018 and 2019.

The top three (3) performing local government units (LGUs) in National Capital Region as well as Nationwide were recognized for their efforts in revenue generation to provide a quality public service.

Likewise, our partners Asian Development Bank (ADB), Civil Service Commission (CSC), United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) and Rare Inc., were recognized for their invaluable support to the Bureau’s undertakings.
