Manila – The Bureau of Local Government Finance (BLGF) Legal Service, in collaboration with the Conflict Resolution Group Foundation, Inc. (the CORE group), conducted an Advance Training on Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) on 07 to 09 December 2022 via Zoom platform.

In his message, Legal Service OIC Director Atty. Wilbert P. Tañeca, emphasized that the conduct of the ADR training follows the Bureau’s commitment for a continuous conduct of capacity building activities on Alternative Dispute Resolution.

Since 2017, the BLGF is actively promoting the use of alternative modes of dispute resolution to develop the skills of frontliners handling various issues and complaints filed before the Bureau.

Participants who have successfully completed the program were empowered with the knowledge and skills necessary in addressing conflict through mediation, and the various alternative modes of dispute resolution apart from the current adjudication process.
