BAGUIO CITY – The Bureau of Local Government Finance (BLGF) Local Treasury Operations Division (LTOD), as part of its mandate to assist in the formulation and implementation of policies on local government revenue and fund management and to exercise administrative and technical supervision and coordination over the treasury and assessment operations of Local Government Units (LGUs), conducted the Workshop on Judicial and Administrative Remedies (JAR), on 08 to 11 November 2022, at the Baguio Country Club, Baguio City, which was participated by the selected local treasurers and BLGF officials and employees.

Mr. Ricardo L. Bobis, Jr., Director II of the LGU Operations Service (LGUOS), in an opening message, emphasized the importance of having a common understanding of procedures and policies governing public auctions, particularly the local chief executives, local treasurers, and the general public.

The four-day training workshop is designed to identify and establish the standard guidelines, and assist participants in drafting essential processes, based on existing laws and contemporary rules and regulations in the conduct of JAR through public auction.
