The Bureau of Local Government Finance commemorates with the nation in the celebration of the 2018 National Women’s Month as part of the worldwide observance of the International Women’s Day (IWD) with the theme “We Make Change Work for Women”, anchored on the commitment of the Duterte Administration towards the achievement of the “Malasakit at Pagbabago”.

Women are active contributors in ensuring that the Bureau’s plans, programs and activities are in place towards the attainment and furtherance of a healthy local fiscal climate. For the year 2018, the Bureau is committed to deliver quality services to its women stakeholders through the implementation of the Quality Management System (QMS) and ISO 9001:2015 certification initiatives and enhancement of the programs and activities under the Local Finance Management Modernization Project (LFMMP). These and a whole lot more of improvement initiatives are sustainably being upheld to nurture women’s capability to bring about positive and sustainable changes in the local fiscal spectrum.

In support to the 2018 National Women’s Month, this Bureau is enjoining all its officials and employees to actively participate in all Gender and Development (GAD) efforts and initiatives.
