The Bureau of Local Government Finance (BLGF) commemorates its 32^nd Founding Anniversary this year with the theme “Improving Local Finance, Empowering Local Governments”, coinciding with the celebration of the Local Government Month.

As part of the month-long celebration of the Bureau, BLGF Executive Director Niño Raymond B. Alvina, together with the BLGF Central Office’s Directors, went to Koronadal City to witness the unveiling of the newly built BLGF Regional Office No. XII on 14 October 2019. Present also to witness the inauguration are the Regional Directors of the BLGF Regional Offices.

ED Alvina emphasized in his message the importance of this milestone and its relevance in continuing positive impact in local governance, “with this new BLGF Region XII Office Building, let this be our new home away from home, to enrich ourselves with new knowledge and skills to produce better results local treasury and assessment services.”
