Bureau of Local Government Finance OIC Chief of Policy, Planning, Programming and Standard Division Ms Brenda L. Miranda, together with other countries’ fiscal managers, attended the Fiscal Policy Analysis Course last 30 April 2018 to 11 May 2018 at the IMF-Singapore Regional Training Institute (STI).

The program aims to bridge the gap between public finance and policy making through hands-on courses in general empirical findings, public investment expenditure policy, domestic resource mobilization, tax policy reforms, fiscal accounts and aggregates, and fiscal multipliers among others.

The discussions laid down new perspectives, techniques and tools as the participants re-examine their country’s initiatives in improving fiscal policies.
