The Bureau of Local Government Finance (BLGF), thru its Local Financial Data Analysis Division (LFDAD), conducted a training-workshop in line with the Department of Finance (DOF) Department Order No. 031.2018 dated 04 May 2018, establishing the rules and guidelines in the attestation or certification of income relative to the requirements in the creation, conversion, merger, or abolition of local government units (LGUs) on 30 July to 01 August 2019 at the Splendido Hotel, Tagaytay City.

Joining the training were the technical personnel from the BLGF Central Office, BLGF Regional Offices and Provinces involved in the implementation of the said DOF Department Order.

The three-day training-workshop aimed to capacitate the local treasury of LGUs on the topics discussed – basic data requirements, important features of the certification, proper determination of income, accurate computation of the average annual income by indexing and defining the resulting income reclassification of the original LGU or LGUs.”
