The Bureau of Local Government Finance (BLGF), through the Local Financial Data Analysis Division (LFDAD), conducted a Training of Trainers (TOT) on Real Property Tax (RPT) Compliance and Impact Studies on 28 to 30 October at Manila Grand Opera Hotel.

The training was conducted in line with the goal of Package 3 of the Comprehensive Tax Reform Program (CTRP) of the government to capacitate the local government units (LGUs), particularly the local treasurers and assessors.

The 3-day training aims to equip the local treasury and assessment operations officers with the skills and knowledge needed in the preparation of RPT compliance and revenue/tax impact studies in relation to the updating of the Schedule of Market Values (SMV).  It was concluded with the participants’ presentation of output based on the actual data from sample LGUs.
