The Bureau of Local Government Finance (BLGF) will be celebrating its 28^th Anniversary on October 1, 2015 at 10:30 AM at the Hotel Jen, Roxas Boulevard in Pasay City.

This year’s celebration will be highlighted with the launching of the enhanced BLGF website. The new website is in compliance with the government’s directive to improve transparency and good governance in local fiscal and financial management through effective web presence and online services.

“With our enhanced website, we hope that BLGF will be able to better serve our stakeholders by providing them easier and highly accessible information and services offered by the Bureau,” BLGF OIC-Executive Director Salvador M. Del Castillo said.

The new website contains relevant and accurate information to promote transparency and good governance to local governments, stakeholders and the public. It also makes it possible to lodge queries and concerns online and even access a databank of issuances of the Bureau.

“In addition to the improvements on the website’s look and feel, it has enhanced usability functions for persons with disabilities and is designed for optimal viewing on mobile devices.” added Del Castillo.

The BLGF website can be accessed thru https://blgf.gov.ph. It can also be accessed via the Department of Finance website (http://dof.gov.ph) by clicking the BLGF logo at the bottom of the page.
