The Department of Finance (DOF) through the Bureau of Local Government Finance (BLGF) aims to institute the  highest degree of excellence, efficiency, skills and technical competencies in the local treasury service.

As part of instituting professional development and capacity build up, a second batch of “Leadership and Management Training for Local Treasurers and Assistant Treasurers” was conducted on August 1-4, 2017 at the Baguio Burnham Suites, Baguio City.

The said training was participated by 47 provincial, city, municipal and assistant treasurers from different local government units in the country.
