The Bureau of Local Government Finance (BLGF), with funding support from the Asian Development Bank (ADB), will conduct a Trainers’ Training on the Philippine Valuation Standards (PVS) 2nd Edition, 2018, on 4-7 June 2019 and 11-14 June 2019, in Metro Manila.
The training is significant in pursuing the advocacy for nationwide awareness and implementation of the PVS, issued under DOF Department Order No. 037.2018 dated 2 July 2018, aligning the current real estate practice in the country with the international valuation standards.
The participants of the training are provincial, city and municipal assessors including BLGF Central and Regional Assessment Officers, who will be mobilized to support the bureau’s continuing professional education in espousing the relevance of valuation standards, both in the national and local levels of the government and to other valuation stakeholders.
